Our scope of services extends from a full design service to partial services in line with funding or planning stages. We carry out feasibility studies, insurance reports, structural inspections and surveys as well as design and advisory services, providing our clients with designs, drawings, reports and advice.
Schemes have encompassed structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, masonry, timber and aluminium. Projects range from the mundane to the highly sophisticated and innovative, examples of which can be viewed in our portfolio.
Taylor & Boyd has designed numerous civil engineering works; in site development, roads, main drainage and sports fields.
On many of its projects, Taylor & Boyd is responsible for below ground drainage, geotechnical and contaminated land site investigations, topographical, flood risk and other surveys. Many recent projects have achieved or are being designed to BREEAM 'excellent' standard.
We have gained extensive experience in assessing the structural condition of properties and investigating defects in buildings; we have worked alongside most of the Provinces Loss Adjustors in investigating problems due to subsidence, floods, fire and accidental damage.
Our practice also has several qualified CDM Co-ordinators. Even when not officially involved in this capacity, this facility provides valuable assistance to our engineers when developing schemes.
